Overview

The MG1100 was designed to allow users of bottled nitrogen to be independent of the logistical problems caused by having to find pressurized nitrogen gas suppliers. With its small footprint and standard electrical requirements (115 VAC, 20 amp circuit) it can operate in the field at the user/operator level and in maintenance shops through all levels of maintenance support. The MG1100 can produce up to 28 liters of nitrogen gas per minute at pressures up to 4500 psi simply by attaching a 100-150 psi compressed air source with a minimum 7.5 CFM flow (recommended 11.5 CFM compressor).* It will fill a standard storage bottle/vessel or it can be used to fill several standard bottles in a cascade. An empty “K” bottle can be filled in less than 4 hours and an empty M198 Howitzer equilibrator and recuperator can be easily filled in less than 2.5 hours.

*The MG1100 Nitrogen Generator is shipped with the PSI preset at 1900 so it can accommodate most nitrogen bottles. If higher pressures are desired, up to 4500 psi, please discuss with Mandus Group prior to delivery.
