Mandus Group Receives Orders for its Hydraulic System Test and Repair Units (HSTRU)

Mandus Group takes great pleasure in announcing two contract awards for its highly effective Hydraulic System Test and Repair Unit (HSTRU) from the U.S. Army’s Program Manager for Sets, Kits, Outfits, and Tools (PM SKOT).

The first contract, for 66 units, was awarded on August 15, 2016 with the follow on contract award, for 22 units, taking place on October 27, 2016. Mandus Group was selected to be the U.S. Army’s Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the HSTRU in 2011 after winning a full and open contract competition. Unique design innovations and a “soldier friendly” work flow concept were cited by PM SKOT as significant factors in selecting Mandus Group to build the HSTRU for the U.S. Army. Since the original contract award Mandus Group will have manufactured a total of 681 HSTRUs for the U.S. Army upon delivery of these two new orders of 88 units. The HSTRU is currently in service with all components of the U.S. Army, including the Army Reserves and National Guard, as well as with the U.S. Marine Corps. The HSTRU has garnered numerous accolades from the users in the field for its efficiency and effectiveness and is considered one of the best mobile maintenance systems in use by our Armed Forces today.HSTRU in shop with drawers open and lights on
